Mary Ramsden – an Inspirational Journey. Through the difficulties of having her husband and 10 year old daughter living with cancer at the same time and the eventual passing of her daughter at the age of 12, Mary has found a way to get through these tragedies and thrive. The blog located on this website houses snippets of her life and other worthwhile items.

Mary is available to speak at houses of worship, grief groups, bereaved parent groups, youth and school groups and support groups. Her engaging lectures are filled with real-life issues that she communicates with a sense of humor and yet reverence for the delicate situations she speaks about. She conducts interactive workshops as well. She assists families as they deal with end-of-life issues. She guides families during their difficult times to make the journey more bearable. She helps with sibling support as well, by giving guidance.

Mary is an excellent grief coach. She can assist you through your grief to encouarge you to grieve in a positive and productive manner.

Mary has been a Director of Religious Education for close to 20 years. She uses her vast experience and knowledge to consult with houses of worship, to lead in-serivce days, to do religious education teacher trainings, and interactive lectures for students of all grade levels.

More on a personal note, Mary enjoys time with her family, especially her surviving daughter. She likes to cook, garden and do anything outdoors. During her time spent in the garden Mary often contemplates life and gets perspectives that she uses in her lectures. Mary is in the process of writing a book which she hopes will be published. The book will be the story of her daughter’s illness, the struggle in preparing a child to face end-of-life issues, and the challenge in keeping it together for the healthy child. She will use her journal entries as the basis of the book with retrospective, insightful anecdotes to complete the chapters.
